The Clark County Waste Management District now offers a free waste reduction program for larger businesses and institutions in Clark County.
The District has hired a professional consultant to perform confidential waste audits to review waste management practices and offer suggestions on how to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
The District can then help you establish an internal waste reduction program and will assist in finding service providers that will either recycle or reuse your materials.
Many times businesses can reduce their costs using remanufactured materials in place of virgin materials.
A waste audit can also assist in source reduction; not generating the waste in the first place.
